 There are lots of reasons to be a regular at College Hill Coffee Co. and Casual Gourmet – but there are some special things that seem to bring people back over and over again. Everybody loves our turkey-based five bean chili – not too hot, just right – and all homemade. We bill our guacamole as “the best on the planet,” and no one has ever disagreed – and yes, it’s homemade.
Our hummus plate starter gets rave reviews – just the right homemade start to a great meal. People have fun trying (but never succeeding) to figure out all the ingredients in our exclusive secret-recipe quiche muffin – savory, not sweet, and only Tina knows the recipe. You’ve never had a better brownie than here and never had a tastier, fresher piece of homemade pie. Our house-baked giant cinnamon roll is a favorite breakfast item, but some smart diners know it’s also a great dessert warmed and ala mode.
We offer a complete coffee bar, but the espresso shake has a fan club all its own. And the all-time favorite – our big, beautiful, fresh Hollywood salad with homemade chicken salad or tuna salad – it’s worth the trip, and we are used to providing doggie boxes for what you can’t finish in one sitting!
